Nizan Mosery
Nizan Mosery has more than 25 years of real estate experience spanning construction, multifamily and commercial projects, property management, syndication and creative financing.
He began in New York with a restoration and renovation company, working on assets of up to 300 units. Since moving to South Florida in 2009, he has been a licensed broker, owned a commercial RE/MAX franchise and led its multifamily division.
Natanel Yaakovi
Natanel Yaakovi brings more than 15 years of experience in technology, systems engineering, product management and complex project execution, alongside more than a decade of real estate investing across Asia, Europe and the United States.
With a background in computer science, defense systems and cybersecurity, he applies a highly analytical and technology-driven approach to real estate investing, with a focus on financial underwriting, multifamily syndications and capital raising. He also leads the alternative investments and international real estate segment within a financial community of more than 250,000 members.
Douglas Place, Sr.
Douglas is a CPA with an MBA in International Finance from Southern New Hampshire University and a BSBA in Accounting from Merrimack College. He brings more than 40 years of C-Suite experience managing finance, accounting, and investor relations for companies ranging from startups to the Fortune 500, beginning his career as a tax accountant at Arthur Andersen & Co.
Over his career, Douglas has led two initial public offerings raising approximately $128M in new capital, secured $240M in debentures to fund automotive manufacturing plants in Mexico, and partnered with private equity firms and a family office to raise $258.5M in debt and equity for acquisitions across 13 countries. He also formed two bank syndications securing $251M in credit and mezzanine financing.
Having positioned entities totaling approximately $182M for divestiture, sale, or generational transfer, Douglas has now retired from the corporate world to concentrate on real estate investing in multifamily properties.
Karen Orlando-Place
Karen Orlando-Place has more than 35 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, SEC compliance and investment fund administration.
A CPA with an MBA in Accounting, her career includes KPMG, Fidelity Investments, State Street Bank and Brown Brothers Harriman, with extensive experience in public-company reporting, regulatory compliance and audit oversight. She now focuses on multifamily real estate investing.
